XRSOLAR 2W solar panel is suitable, optimal performance depends on a few factors:
- VMS Power Consumption: Verify the exact power requirements (in watts or amps) of your specific VMS unit. A 2W panel generates approximately 0.6 amps at 3V in ideal conditions.
- Battery Storage: A small, deep-cycle battery (e.g., a 10-20Ah lithium-ion or sealed lead-acid) is essential to store energy and power the VMS during periods of low sunlight or at night.
- Charge Controller: A small solar charge controller (MPPT or PWM) is crucial to protect the battery from overcharging and deep discharging, maximizing its lifespan.
