CUSTOM DESIGN
Custom Solar Panel Design
Common questions about custom dimensions, electrical output, mounting details and product integration.
Q01. Can you customize the solar panel size and shape?
Yes. We can customize panel dimensions, shape, cell layout and mounting details based on your product design and available installation area.
Q02. Can you customize voltage and power?
Yes. Voltage and power can be designed according to your battery system, charging circuit and device power requirements
Q03. Can you develop a solar panel from my drawing?
Yes. You can send us your CAD drawing, product dimensions or available installation area. Our engineering team can review the design and recommend a suitable solar panel configuration.
Q04. Can you customize cables and connectors?
Yes. Cable length, wire type, solder pads and connector options can be customized for OEM projects.
Q05. Can you add mounting holes, adhesive or special backing?
Yes. Mounting options can include screw holes, adhesive backing, VHB tape, brackets and other custom structures depending on the application.
Q06. What information do you need before starting a custom design?
Please provide the application, target size, voltage, power, battery information, installation method, operating environment and expected order quantity when available.
MATERIALS & DURABILITY
Materials and Outdoor Performance
Common questions about solar panel materials, outdoor durability, waterproofing and expected service life.
Q01. What solar panel materials do you offer?
Yes. We offer ETFE, PET, epoxy, glass and flexible solar panel structures for different applications and service-life requirements.
Q02. Which material is best for outdoor use?
ETFE and glass are generally better suited for long-term outdoor applications. The best option depends on UV exposure, moisture, mechanical requirements and expected service life.
Q03. What is the typical service life?
Service life depends on the panel structure and operating environment. Epoxy is typically used for shorter-life or protected applications, while PET, ETFE and glass offer longer outdoor service life.
Q04. Are your solar panels waterproof?
Water resistance depends on the panel structure, sealing method and installation. Suitable outdoor structures can be recommended based on your application requirements.
Q05. Can your solar panels be used in marine environments?
Yes. For marine applications, material selection, sealing, cable routing and mounting method should be considered carefully during design.
Q06. How do UV, temperature and moisture affect solar panel life?
Long-term exposure to UV, heat, humidity and salt spray can affect panel performance and material aging. Choosing the correct encapsulation and structure helps improve outdoor reliability.
SAMPLES & MOQ
Samples and Order Quantity
Common questions about prototype samples, sample quantity, MOQ and evaluation before mass production.
Q01. Do you provide prototype samples?
Yes. Prototype samples are available for mechanical fit, electrical testing and application validation before mass production.
Q02. What is the typical sample quantity?
Sample quantities are typically 5–15 pieces, depending on the product structure and project requirements.
Q03. How long does sample development usually take?
Prototype development typically takes around 15 working days after the specifications and design details are confirmed.
Q04. What is the MOQ for mass production?
For most custom small solar panel projects, mass production typically starts from around 1,000 pieces. MOQ may vary depending on materials, structure and production process.
Q05. Are samples free?
Sample cost depends on the product and development requirements. For some projects, sample charges may be credited or discussed when moving to mass production.
Q06. Can I test samples before placing a production order?
Yes. Sample testing is recommended before mass production to confirm electrical performance, mechanical fit and application compatibility.
PRODUCTION & LEAD TIME
Production and Lead Time
Common questions about prototype timing, mass production, OEM/ODM support and repeat orders.
Q01. What is the typical prototype lead time?
Prototype development typically takes around 15 working days after the specifications and design details are confirmed.
Q02. What is the typical mass production lead time?
Mass production is generally around 30 working days, depending on quantity, materials and project requirements.
Q03. Can you support OEM and ODM projects?
Yes. We support OEM/ODM projects from requirement review and solar panel design through prototyping, testing and mass production.
Q04. Can you support repeat production?
Yes. Once the design is approved, repeat orders can be produced according to the confirmed specifications, materials and quality requirements.
Q05. Can production specifications be kept for future orders?
Yes. Confirmed product specifications, drawings and production requirements can be maintained for repeat production and project continuity.
Q06. What information is needed before mass production?
Final drawings, electrical specifications, materials, mounting details, quantity, packaging requirements and approved sample results should be confirmed before production.
TESTING & SHIPPING
Testing, Quality Control and Shipping
Common questions about electrical testing, quality inspection, traceability, packaging and international shipping.
Q01. What testing is performed before shipment?
Each project is inspected according to the confirmed specifications, including electrical output, dimensions, appearance and connection requirements.
Q02. Do you test every solar panel?
For custom small solar panels, electrical performance and visual inspection are carried out according to the agreed quality requirements before shipment.
Q03. Can production data be traced?
Yes. For selected projects, production information such as production date, material batch and test records can be managed for traceability.
Q04. How are solar panels packed for shipment?
Packaging is selected according to panel size, structure and quantity to help protect the products during transportation.
Q05. How do you ship samples and production orders?
Samples are usually shipped by international express. Production orders can be shipped by express, air or sea depending on quantity and delivery requirements.
