Features

  • High Efficiency: This is the primary advantage of HPBC technology. Even at 200W, these panels will typically have a higher conversion efficiency (often exceeding 24% or even 25%) compared to traditional 200W monocrystalline or polycrystalline panels. This means you get more power from a smaller footprint.
  • Benefit: Ideal for applications where space is limited, such as RV roofs, boat decks, or small cabins, allowing you to maximize energy harvest from the available area.
  • All-Black Aesthetic: The most noticeable feature of HPBC panels is the absence of visible metal busbars on the front surface. This gives them a uniform, sleek, all-black appearance that is highly desirable for residential installations and aesthetically sensitive projects.
  • Improved Performance in Partial Shade: The back-contact design often creates multiple current pathways within the cell. This makes HPBC panels more tolerant to partial shading compared to traditional front-contact panels. If a small part of the panel is shaded, the power output of the entire panel might not drop as drasticall.
  • Like other high-quality rigid solar panels,  HPBC 400 watt solar panels are typically constructed with tempered glass, a robust aluminum frame (for rigid versions), and an IP67/IP68 junction box, ensuring resistance to weather elements (rain, snow, wind) and a long lifespan.
